2012 Kelly Fleming Sauvignon Blanc 375ml
A total of 16 tons of Sauvignon Blanc were harvested from three separate Napa Valley vineyards between August 28 and September 4, 2012. While the wine is comprised primarily of Sauvignon Musque, a drizzle of Sauvignon Blanc (Clone 1) was included in the final blend. The wine was destemmed, lightly pressed, fermented and aged on the lees for about 4 months in a combination of French oak barrels (62%) and stainless barrels (38%).
"Lovely bright pineapple, gentle fresh Asian pears, and a hint of white peach, along with touches of jasmine, lemongrass and kaffir lime leaf, all demonstrate the integration between fruit and floral notes in this lovely Sauvignon Blanc, primarily crafted from the aromatic Musque clone. On the palate, the bright, juicy pineapple and floral notes are presented in a crisp flavor profile. Vibrant and fresh, these delicate and lively flavors linger through the soft, dry finish."
