2021 Sauvignon Blanc
The 2021 vintage of Kelly Fleming Sauvignon Blanc incorporates 48% Sauvignon Musque (an aromatic clone of Sauvignon Blanc) fruit from the Kick Ranch Vineyard in cool, coastal Sonoma County, along with 52% Sauvignon Musque from Ryan’s Vineyard, a sweet spot tucked away in the sunny yet cool, Oak Knoll AVA in Napa Valley.
Tasting Notes
Winemaker Notes: Bright aromatics of white peach, honeydew melon, and citrus blossom and evolve at first pour followed by notes of grapefruit and lime. Vibrant acidity gives way to a dry, slate minerality which envelopes in the glass and uncovers flavors of lemon and pear with a subtle saline characteristic leaving you thirsty for another sip.
The wine is aged in 60% Stainless Steel and 40% Neutral French Oak for approximately 6 months.
